The Vision
To redefine the journey of pain recovery, creating a future where the path from injury to peak performance is clear, accessible, and empowering. My vision is to see a world where individuals, once feeling helpless and frustrated, can confidently take control of their health, build resilient bodies, and aspire to a more active and fulfilling life than they ever thought possible.
My Story
I was born into a family where sports weren't just a hobby; they were a way of life, something quite unique in India. My uncles and aunts were high-level cricket and tennis players, and my father, a passionate tennis coach, had a grand vision: to develop the best tennis player in the world. From the age of five, my life revolved around the court, and with my dad as my coach, I was immersed in a high-performance environment from my earliest memories. This world of dedication and ambition shaped my purpose, and I was all in.
The hours of practice paid off. I quickly became one of the top junior players in my country, fueled by a relentless drive and an unwavering belief that I would make my family's dream a reality. I was determined to succeed, not just for myself, but to silence the doubters who told my parents they were wasting their time and money on sports.
Then, at the age of 13, my world was turned upside down by a debilitating chronic lower back injury that would shadow me for three long years. It was the most challenging and frustrating period of my life. I felt trapped by a pain that seemed to have no end.
I saw countless physiotherapists, orthopedic specialists, and acupuncturists, but no one could provide a clear diagnosis or a sustainable plan to get me back to the sport I loved. I was prescribed rest, and while the pain would temporarily subside, it would return with a vengeance the moment I pushed myself on the court. The advice was always vague, a few stretches, some basic movements, but nothing that bridged the gap between initial treatment and a return to peak performance.
I felt utterly helpless. The years of hard work were slipping away as I was forced to avoid the training that had defined my life. I watched my parents struggle, wanting nothing more than to see me pain-free. The situation became so desperate that some suggested my pain was purely psychological, a theory that sent me down a confusing path of self-doubt, even as the physical pain remained intensely real. I vividly remember a match in Djibouti, Africa, where the pain became so severe I could barely walk, forcing me to concede when I was on the verge of winning. The emotional and financial toll was immense.
Eventually, the acute back pain lessened, but the damage was done. My body had developed compensatory patterns to protect my back, leading to a shoulder injury that ultimately ended my tennis career. At 17, I felt like a failure. I had lost my rankings, my self-belief, and the future I had worked so hard for.
This devastating experience, however, ignited a new passion within me. It was a defining moment that made me profoundly understand the value of a healthy, pain-free, and mobile body. I decided that if I couldn't find the answers for myself, I would dedicate my life to finding them for others. This resolution led me to Australia, where I pursued a Master's in Exercise Science.
Today, as an exercise rehab specialist and the founder of Strive Performance, I have dedicated my career to helping high-achieving individuals overcome the same kind of frustrating, chronic pain that once derailed my dreams. I know what it’s like when your body feels like a limitation, when pain disrupts your sleep, your mood, and your productivity. I understand the frustration of being given vague advice and the feeling of being stuck in a loop of treatments that only offer temporary relief.
My personal journey is the foundation of my approach. I bridge the gap between treatment and peak performance, providing a clear, structured plan that empowers you and restores your confidence. I’ve worked with professional athletes and driven individuals, helping them become pain-free and rediscover their body's potential to live a limitless life.
I despise seeing people accept a life compromised by pain, especially when I know it can be fixed. You don’t have to give up hope. You can get back to keeping up with your kids, driving the car you love, and performing at your best. My mission is to give you the tools and the plan to not just get out of pain, but to build a foundation of strength and resilience for a vibrant, active life long into the future.
